FAQ

Extension questions.

Which browsers does it work in?

Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox. In Chrome and Edge it opens in the side panel; in Firefox, in the sidebar.

What does the extension read?

Only the page you share, when you share it: its address, title, description, preview image and any text you selected. It doesn’t read your other tabs or your browsing history, and it can’t see pages you don’t share.

Which platforms can I post to?

Every account you’ve connected to SocialHelper that receives posts: today that’s Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Telegram, Discord, Tumblr, Bluesky and Mastodon.

Does it use the AI writer?

Yes. It can draft a post about the page or rework your text (shorter, friendlier, fixed), within your plan’s AI writes.

How do I sign it out?

Choose Sign out in the extension’s menu, or sign it out from SocialHelper under Settings → Devices.

Is it free?

Yes. The extension is free, and SocialHelper is free during early access.
