- 1 Create a key on the API & MCP page. It starts with sh_.
- 2 Add the server and the key to the agent’s MCP settings.
- 3 Revoke the key anytime, without touching your other keys.

Which AI assistants work with SocialHelper?
Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers. ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini connect by signing in; Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, VS Code and other MCP clients connect with an API key. Each has a setup guide here or under Integrations.
Does the assistant post without asking?
SocialHelper tells every assistant that posts are public and to confirm the text and the accounts with you first. Scheduled posts can be edited or cancelled until they go out.
Can it read my analytics too?
Yes, for the marketing accounts you connect: Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Ads. The same assistant can read a report and then draft posts from it.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools. SocialHelper runs an MCP server at https://socialhelper.app/mcp, so any assistant that speaks MCP can use its 11 tools.
What does it cost?
SocialHelper is free during early access. Some assistants only allow custom connections on certain plans of their own; each guide links to the vendor’s details.
