Plan and schedule a week of posts with an AI assistant
A practical routine: brief your assistant once, review the drafts, and let it schedule the week across your accounts.

Most small teams know they should post a few times a week and rarely manage it, because each post is its own little project. An AI assistant connected to your accounts turns it into one sitting: you give it the week’s material, review what it writes, and it schedules everything. This is a routine that works with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini once SocialHelper is connected.
Before the first week: set your posting times
In the SocialHelper dashboard, open the calendar and set your weekly posting times, for example Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9 am. These are the slots the queue fills. You only do this once, and you can change it anytime.
If you haven’t connected an assistant yet, follow the guide for ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
Step 1: give it the week in one message
The quality of the drafts depends on what you hand over. Paste the raw material: what’s happening this week, links, a recent customer question, the tone you want. For example:
This week we’re launching a new seasonal menu on Wednesday, we have a tasting event Saturday from 2 to 5, and customers keep asking whether we do gluten-free bread (we do, Fridays). Write three posts for our Instagram and Facebook Page, friendly and short, one per topic. Don’t post anything yet.
“Don’t post anything yet” is worth including the first few times, even though SocialHelper asks assistants to confirm before posting.
Step 2: review the drafts
Read them the way a customer would. Ask for changes in plain words: shorter, fewer emoji, mention the price, swap the order. You can also ask the assistant to check the drafts. It runs the same checks SocialHelper runs before publishing and tells you if something is too long or missing for a platform. Instagram, for example, needs an image or a video on every post.
For photos, attach them in the chat if you use ChatGPT, or give the assistant a public link to each image.
Step 3: schedule the week
When you’re happy, ask the assistant to schedule them:
Add the three posts to the queue, in this order.
Each one takes the next free posting time. If you’d rather choose, give the times instead, with your time zone: “Wednesday 8 am, Friday noon and Saturday 10 am Eastern.”
Step 4: check what’s lined up
Ask “what’s scheduled for next week?” and the assistant lists your scheduled posts. You’ll see the same posts on the SocialHelper calendar, where you can drag one to another day.
Plans change. Until a minute before a post goes out, you can ask the assistant to edit its text, move it, change its accounts, or cancel it. After it’s published, it’s on the platform, and removing it is up to you there.
After the week
Ask the assistant whether everything went out, and it will give you the links or the reason a platform refused a post. If you’ve connected Google Analytics or Search Console too, you can ask which posts sent people to your site and use that for next week’s brief.
