ChatGPT and Claude can now connect by signing in
Add SocialHelper as a custom connector, sign in and pick a team. No API key to copy.

ChatGPT and Claude only connect to MCP servers that let you sign in, so until now they couldn’t use SocialHelper. The MCP server now supports OAuth sign-in alongside API keys. Add https://socialhelper.app/mcp as a custom connector, sign in to SocialHelper, pick the team the assistant may use, and you’re connected. There’s no key to copy or store.
How a connection works
- The assistant acts as you, in the one team you picked, and only while you’re allowed to manage API keys in that team.
- It can post, schedule and check posts, and run reports on connected marketing accounts. It can’t connect or remove accounts, see API keys or change billing.
- Every connected app is listed under Connected apps on the API & MCP page, where you can disconnect it.

- ChatGPT can attach a photo or video you shared or made in the chat, without a public link.
