Videos up to 1 GB, and a Media page for your files

Large videos upload straight to storage, and a new Media page shows what you’ve uploaded and how much space it takes.

1 minute read By SocialHelper team

Videos can now be up to 1 GB. Large files go straight from your browser to storage instead of through our servers, which used to cap uploads well below that. Each platform’s own video limit still applies, and the composer tells you before uploading if a file is too big for an account you picked.

Images stay at up to 60 MB. If a file is refused, the composer and bulk upload now say why. Before, a video that was too large could fail without a message.

A Media page

The new Media page lists your team’s files with their size and the posts that use them. Upload straight to the library, and delete files no scheduled post or draft needs anymore.

Each plan includes media storage. During early access that’s 10 GB per team, and the billing page shows how much you’ve used.

For developers

  • Large files: POST /api/v1/media/uploads returns a direct upload URL, then POST /api/v1/media with the upload_id.
  • DELETE /api/v1/media/{id} removes a file. It returns 409 if a scheduled post or draft still uses it.
