Posting times, a week view and bulk scheduling
Set weekly posting times and fill them from a queue, plan on a week view, edit scheduled posts, and schedule a batch at once.
1 minute read By SocialHelper team
Scheduling got a lot more useful this week. You can now set the times you like to post and let SocialHelper fill them, plan on a week view, change a post after you’ve scheduled it, and schedule a whole batch at once.
Posting times and the queue
Set weekly posting times for your team on the calendar, for example Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am. Then choose “Add to queue” instead of picking a time, and the post takes the next free slot. The API and MCP server take queue: true for the same thing.
A week view
The calendar has a week view next to month and agenda. Drag a post to another day and it moves there at the same time. Your free posting times show up too, so gaps are easy to spot.
Edit a scheduled post
Until a minute before it goes out, you can change a scheduled post’s text, media, time or accounts. The edit is checked against every platform’s rules again, just like a new post. In the API that’s PATCH /api/v1/posts/{id}, and assistants use update_post.
Schedule a batch
Upload up to 20 videos or photos, write a caption for each, then add them all to the queue or spread them out. Every row is checked before any of them is scheduled, so a problem with one doesn’t leave half a batch behind.
Video covers
Pick the frame you want as the cover in the composer. It’s used for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Pinterest, and YouTube gets it as the custom thumbnail where the channel allows one.
