AI assistants and reports
Let your assistant post for you
Ask your assistant to write, schedule and check posts in plain words.
Once an assistant is connected (see Connect an AI assistant), you can ask it to write, schedule and check posts in plain words. It uses the same accounts, checks and queue as the dashboard, and every post shows up on your Posts page and calendar.
Things to ask
- “Write a post about our Saturday class and post it to Instagram and Facebook now.”
- “Draft three posts for next week about my new strength plan and add them to the queue.”
- “Schedule this photo for Bluesky and Threads tomorrow at 9am.” (attach the photo, or give a public link to it)
- “Did yesterday’s post go out everywhere?”
- “Cancel the post scheduled for Sunday.”
- “Move Friday’s post to 6pm.”
What it can do
- List your connected accounts and what each platform allows.
- Check a post against every platform before sending it, and tell you what to change.
- Post now, at a time, or into your queue.
- Add photos and videos from a link, or files you share in ChatGPT.
- Show a post’s status on each account, and list recent posts or failures.
- Change or cancel a scheduled post until about a minute before it goes out.
- Pull reports from your marketing accounts: see Get marketing reports.
Review what it did
Open Posts or Calendar. Posts made by an assistant are marked MCP, and behave like any other: you can edit, cancel or post them again.
Posting is public and immediate unless you ask for a time. Ask the assistant to show you the post and the accounts before it sends, or tell it to schedule rather than post now, so you can check it in the calendar first.
What it can’t do
- Connect, reconnect or remove accounts. Do that on the Accounts page.
- Delete posts that are already live on a platform. Cancelling only stops ones that haven’t gone out.
- Use your drafts or snippets. Those are in the dashboard and app.
If something goes wrong
- It says a post doesn’t fit: nothing was posted. Ask it to shorten the text for that platform, or change what it flagged.
- It can’t find an account: make sure the account is connected and doesn’t need reconnecting.
- A post failed: ask the assistant why, or open it on the Posts page. See Check how a post went.
